History of the dance

Dance existed and exists in cultural traditions of all human societies. For long history of mankind it changed, reflecting cultural development.

The primary source of national dance were movements and the gestures connected with sensual impressions of world around, and ritual mysteries with only it inherent choreographic language and expressiveness were an integral part of a spiritual life of the ancient person.

Dance art is the most ancient display of creativity of the people, born simultaneously with the advent of the person as natural physiological requirement for rhythmic movement.
